Module
Two
Teachers should print out and review List of Objectives for Module Two then
refer to the suggested textbook or textbook of their choice for explanations
of the specific Module Two concepts. Explanation(s) should indicate knowledge.
Knowledge in a simple form should include a definition
with example(s).
@ Click on link above for a few practical definitions and
examples. @
Carefully review Explanations of Module Two Concepts & Problems
which are the first two links (URL) at the top of the page for Module Two.
Teachers should printout and complete the provided set of problems at the
bottom Module Two Problems Page. It is provided in PDF form for use.
Teachers should decide on one topic in Module Two and create an appropriate
study guide for their grade level. Study Guides should only be one page in length.
It is extremely important that Concepts include explanations and drawings.
Refer to the provided concepts on Module Two
Page. Again one page only!
Carefully review the Brief
Overview of Ohio Benchmarks for 5 to 7 Grades.
or if more appropriate the Summary of All Ohio Benchmarks of All Grades.
######################################################
Teachers should review explanations (words above) from the computations
included in Module Two. Provided problem sets will be provided for student use.
The complete set of problems ( A, B, C, D, & E, F, G, H ) with answers
will be provided for each teacher. They will be in a Zip file and/or in PDF.
Teachers are expected to select one of the computational sets of problems in
Module Two and change each problem for an entirely new set of problems
and create an accompanying answer sheet, which allows teachers to experience
active participation in this unique and careful design for success & motivation.
This changed set of problems is to be on one page and to be sent later to the
TMT instructor via E-mail attachment and hopefully using MS Word.
Now, Module Two raises the difficulty level by mixing up problems in
( A, B, C, D ). Increasing difficulty was verified by classroom experience.
Each provided mixed computation set of problems ( E, F, G, H )
should be review by each teacher to verify that they are in fact the same
as the problems provided in the computation sets ( A, B, C, D ). Wow!
Teachers do not have to be change mixed set of problems as in A,B,C,D.
Teachers are expected to select a set of computation problems (A, B, C, D)
solve the problems and change the numbers into a new set of problems.
Teachers are expected to select one topic from Module Two concepts
and complete a one page study guide with explanations and examples.
Teachers are expected to investigate the web sites (URLs) at the bottom of
Module Two and select two web sites and complete a two sentence reflection
for each of selected web sites. Web Site name is to be included with reflection!
Hopefully, Computation Problem Set and Concept Study Guide with
Web Site Reflections on provided links can be sent via Email attachments. Q.E.D. !!!
