Sand or Stone?

Thank God for the winds of forgiveness. Be blessed!
Ephesians 4: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. At a specific point of the
journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.
The one, who got slapped, was hurt, but without anything to say, he wrote in the sand:
"TODAY, MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE".

They kept on walking, until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath.
The one who got slapped and hurt started drowning, and the other friend saved him.
When he recovered from the fright, he wrote on a stone:
"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE".
The friend who saved and slapped his best friend, asked him,
"Why, after I hurt you, you wrote in the sand, and now you write on a stone?"

The other friend, smiling, replied:
"When a friend hurts us, we should write it in the sand, where winds of forgiveness
are in charge of erasing it away, but when something good happens, we should
engrave it in the stone memory of the heart, where no wind can ever erase it"

We all need to learn to write in the sand.
"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."

Joshua 4: 1 - 7 And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over
Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying,
Take you twelve men out of the people, out of every tribe a man,
And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan,
out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones,
and ye shall carry them over with you,
and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.
Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel,
out of every tribe a man:

And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of
Jordan, and take ye up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number
of the tribes of the children of Israel:
That this may be a sign among you, [that] when your children ask
[their fathers] in time to come, saying, What [mean] ye by these stones?

Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant
of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones
shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

Proverbs 7: 2 - 3 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.
