* Power of Many Search Engines at your Finger Tips *

How would you like to have immediate access to a variety of search tools,

Google, Alta Vista, etc… by just typing gg, av, etc… at Explorer URL box.

To have this super efficient process, first install MS Web Accessories,

Web Accessories is “cake” to install and they are located at URL below.

After following steps below, you'll be able to type gg av dg

followed by a space and a search item to perform any search on WWW

using awesome search engines such as: Google, AltaVista, Dogpile, etc…

1. After installing Microsoft Web Accessories

2. Click on the Quicksearch.exe item on your Links Toolbar.

3. It will be there only if you have installed Web Accessories

4. When the Web Accessories window appears

5. Click on the New button

6. Type gg in the shortcut window

7. Select Custom URL in Search Window (small black arrow)

8. Type the following URL in the URL window or Copy & Paste

http://www.google.com/search?q=%s

9. To make sure all is OK click the Try it … Button

10 . At the Try it… click OK

11. A Google search should appear using MSIE and Google

12. The following will appear

http://www.google.com/search?q=<your+search+text+goes+here>

13. Close the MSIE and Google search window

14. At the Internet Explorer Quick Search window

15. Click the Save Button

16. The QuickSearch using gg should be usable in MSIE

17. Try it out by launching MSIE and do a search using gg

18. Don’t forget the space between gg then the search item…

19. This QuickSearch procedure can be repeated for any search engine

20. Try a few of your favorites if they are not already in the

Internet Explorer QuickSearch Window
