Directions to Setup Mozilla Firefox & Mozilla Suite
( Before
beginning, create a New Folder called Mozilla on Desktop.)
( So far, all of
Mozilla componets are free and easy to use. )
( Mozilla Firefox & Suite should provide Shortcuts on Desktop. )
1. Goto the Mozilla Home
Page http://www.mozilla.org
2. On the left hand side
of the web page, click on Download Firefox 1.0
3. At the Download Security
Warning Dialog Page, click the Save button
4. When the Save As
window appears, change the top location to Desktop.
5. Double Click on the Mozilla
folder you created before beginning this exercise.
6. After the Mozilla folder
window appears, click on the Save Button.
7. After Mozilla Firefox has
been saved, click close button & close all windows.
8. Open the folder called
Mozilla and Double Click the ( .exe ) file to install it.
9. It should not take long
before you are running and using Mozilla
Firefox Browser.
1. Goto the Mozilla Home
Page http://www.mozilla.org
2. On the right hand side of
the web page, click on Mozilla 1.7.3
3. At Mozilla Suite, to the right
in the green area, click on appropriate system.
4. At the Download Security
Warning Dialog Page, click the Save button
5. When the Save As
window appears, check that the top location is Mozilla folder.
6. If it is not then make it Desktop
and Double Click on the Mozilla folder.
7. After the Mozilla folder
window appears, click on the Save Button.
8. After Mozilla Sutie has been saved, click close button & close all windows.
9. Open the folder called
Mozilla and Double Click the new ( .exe ) file to install it.
10. The importance of this
Mozilla Suite is the Free HTML web page editor Composer.
The Mozilla Composer (Netscape Composer) is located in the Tools section.
